HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Life's been busy lately. Been slackin' on the blog a bit, sorry 'bout that. Hope you like Elliot's Valentines outfit, she wore it just for you. <wink>.

Elliot is growing fast. So fast that she's out growing a few of her newborn things already. It kind of blows you away when you go to dress her in something you know she wore last week, and now it doesn't fit. We often dress her in our favorite things more frequently because we know it won't be long before they don't fit anymore. Below is a perfect example.

"I'm a lion. Hear me roar!"

Elliot had her one month birthday a few weeks ago. Two months is just around the corner. Tiff wanted to find her a pretty dress so we could take a "one month" family photo to mark the occasion. We found one and decided to try and do the photos at home. I went out to the garage and snagged the old bed sheet I had draped over my motorcycle. We hung it over a hutch, set the camera on the tripod and what follows is the result.

Elliot was a bit tired, a little grouchy, and we were bouncing and "sushhh"ing between shots.

Ring Sling

Tiff's been spending some good time with some of the girls she's met in the local Le Leche League group. They have "Friday Night Knitting" once in awhile in addition to their monthly meeting. Couldn't tell you how much knitting gets done, Tiff certainly isn't doing much, but she and Elliot have a good time and enjoy the company. The ladies there strongly encourage "baby wearing". We've accumulated a few different baby wearing devices like a ring sling, a chest style carrier, and one of the L.L.L. girls loaned Tiff a Moby Wrap (seen below). Tiff's been wearing Elliot as often as she can, and Elliot loves it. She pretty much passes out snuggled up to Tiff and Tiff has her hands free to do other things.

Well, that's about it for now. Next week will be exciting. Eliiot will hit 2 months old, and on her 2 month birthday her Grandpa and Grandma Janssen are coming to visit from California for a week. Should produce some pretty good blog content. Until then, below you'll find some random cell phone and other photos.
